Valentines cards: This is a first-rate and as a matter of fact easy way to enjoy Valentines with the kids - all you need is some craft paper, glue, craft scissors, crayons, coloring pencils or markers, and any other fun decorations to stick onto the card, like glitter, stickers or even yarn. I love the Darice Glitter Foam Stickers from Kmart.com for a neat 3D succeed on my Valentines!
Sweets for my sweetie: Instead of overdosing on cheap chocolates and candy, why not make your own ability truffles? It's so easy, and all you need is semisweet chocolate, vanilla, cream cheese and icing sugar! Here's a quick recipe from AllRecipes.com:
Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) box of cream cheese, softened
3 cups icing sugar
3 cups semisweet chocolate chips, melted
1.5 teaspoons vanilla
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Moderately beat in icing sugar until well-blended. Stir in melted chocolate and vanilla until no streaks remain. Refrigerate for about 1 hour. Shape into 1 inch balls.
That's it! If you and your kids want, you can roll your truffles in coconut or nuts or drizzle them with caramel (but watch out for allergies!)

Her father, Tentei the Sky King, loved her weaving and made her work hard every day to make more cloth. Orihime was sad though since she only made cloth and never met anyone. Her father felt sorry for her and so he arranged to have her meet Hikoboshi, the Cow Herder Star. He lived and worked on the other side of the great river Amanogawa (which we know as the Milky Way). When Orihime and Hikoboshi met they fell in love. Soon they were married and were very happy. So happy that Orihime stopped weaving her beautiful cloth and Hikoboshi stopped taking care of his cows. Tentei was very angry that he did not have his daughter's cloth and Hikoboshi's cows were straying all over heaven. Tentei had to separate the lovers so that Orihime would go back to making beautiful cloth and Hikoboshi would take care of his cows.
